Careers Programme Information

Careers Leader – Mrs Lorraine McCormac:

Aim and Vision

We aim to deliver a high quality careers education for young people with special educational needs that is delivered in a meaningful and appropriate way.

Our vision is to develop the employability skills of our young people to increase their opportunities in adulthood. Education, Health and Care plans are central in how we help young people achieve their aspirations for adult life, including to work, where appropriate.

We believe that Careers enables students to:

Understand themselves and their opportunities and have developed the right skill set and be able to take their next steps.

  • World of Work - Learning about Careers and the world of work
  • Careers management - Developing your career management and employability skills
