Welcome to Billing Brook

It is my privilege to welcome you to our school community through our website. We hope the information provided will help you find out more about what is going on in our school and for those of you who do not currently have a child here, then the opportunity to find out more.

We currently have 262 children and young people on roll. The youngest children start in reception year and the oldest leave at the end of 6th Form. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan  which identifies that they have significant to severe cognition and learning difficulties and communication and interaction differences.

We are proud to have a dedicated staff team who are passionate about providing the very best possible educational experiences for our pupils, helping each individual to grow and develop as they prepare for adulthood. Everyone is united in trying to achieve our vision that our pupils become confident individuals able to effectively communicate, that they are healthy, resilient individuals ready to lead fulling lives, that they are independent young people.

Our values of Kindness, Curiosity and Belonging encapsulates our ethos and ways of working. We seek to work with pupils, their families and other stakeholders to ensure we provide children and young people who have learning and communication differences, all of the opportunities necessary so that they develop into adults who lead a life fulfilled with meaningful and purposeful activity.
